McClendon is focused on serving God in our church, community, and around the world. Our purpose as a church is to make a spiritual impact on individuals in Ouachita Parish and beyond. Ouachita Parish is our responsibility. The missions we do in other places inspires us to be more intentional right here in Ouachita Parish. Check out some of our past mission projects and then join us as we learn more about God and ourselves as we serve!

Community Outreach

On October 8, 2017, McClendon had over 300 members to sign up and participate in a community wide outreach.  On this Sunday afternoon, our volunteers helped to feed the homeless in Monroe, provided free meals at a local grocery store in West Monroe, visited several nursing homes in West Monroe, provided free snow cones at Kiroli Park, hosted 2 block parties at 2 local apartment complexes, washed cars, provided free oil changes, worked at 2 local launder mats, provided free groceries to those in need, and painted the playground equipment at a local elementary school.  All in an effort to show God’s love to others around us.

World Changers

Each year, our students serve with others from around the United States to meet physical and spiritual needs through construction; roofing, painting, clean up, etc. Students will advance the gospel and answer God’s call to make disciples.

Olympic Missions

Each Olympics we take a small team of members to serve during the Olympic Games. Pin trading is a big thing at the Olympics and we use our ministry pin to share the Gospel.  You never know the places God will take you to serve!
