Kevin has been married to Diane for 30 years. They have two children: Faith, is a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the Univ. of Oklahoma Health Science Center, Oklahoma City, OK.  Bethany is a freshman at Ouachita Baptist University.  Both daughters enjoy music. Kevin surrendered control of his life to Christ as Lord and Savior as an 18 year old just prior to graduating from High School. Shortly after that he felt God wanted him to preach. He has pastored churches for over 30 years. He holds two degrees from Ouachita Baptist University, as well as a Masters and Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kevin enjoys football and reading, as well as shooting his 9 MM Glock with Diane.  Sometimes he even enjoys shopping with her.

James has been married to Elaine for 21 years. They have three children: Will (19), Emma, (17), and Jacob (12). James trusted Jesus as his Savior at Children’s Camp when he was 10 years old. While attending Baylor University James felt God’s call in his life to ministry. James graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Computer Information Systems in 1993 and a Master of Divinity in 1997 from George W.Truett Theological Seminary. James enjoys spending time with his family, sports and is an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. James has served as Associate Pastor at McClendon since 2000.



Jimmy was born and raised in Bastrop, La. He has been married for 29 years to Mendy Reynolds White. They have 3 children, Zach (26) , Noah (20) , and Josie (9). All of his family is gifted musically as Zach plays the bass guitar, Noah plays the drums, and Mendy plays the piano and flute. Josie is currently in training to find her gift that God has planned for her!

Jimmy gave his life to Christ at the age of 10 and has been involved in music ministry all of his life. In 1989, he began serving as a part-time music minister at Oak Hill Baptist Church and has served at several Northeast Louisiana area churches ever since. On September 9, 2012, he surrendered to full time music ministry. In December of 2012, McClendon Baptist Church called Jimmy to serve as their full time music minister.

Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) in 1990 and has worked in several area hospitals and clinics for 22 years. Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, playing his guitar, and watching/playing sports.

Vickie graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1969 with a B.S. in English and Physical Education, Vickie began her professional career as a high school teacher educating young people through teaching English, Physical Education, and Special Education. She was also a basketball coach and sponsor of yearbooks for 6 years. In 1998, Vickie was asked to act as interim youth director at McClendon while a search team looked for a new youth minister. A year later, she was called by the church to become the full time youth director. She and her husband of 46 years, Ray, joined McClendon in 1982. They have 3 children, Jay, David, Jill, and 5 grandchildren. David is in the ministry and is currently a chaplain in the United States Army. Jay and Jill are in the medical field.

Vickie put her trust in Christ in elementary school and has been actively involved in a Christian fellowship since. Her call has been a passion to teach, lead, and encourage youth people and has taught youth for 40 years. God has opened doors for Vickie to pursue HIS calling in ways she never thought possible. Her plan is to continue to serve in whatever way God calls and follow Matthew 22:37 ,” Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.”




Elaine has a passion for helping children grow in their relationship with the Lord and become servant leaders. She was called to the ministry as a 4th grader, one year after accepting Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Elaine has a degree from Baylor University (Go Bears!) in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education. She has a Masters in Childhood Ministry from Dallas Baptist University. Elaine has been married to James for 21 years and they have three children: Will (Freshman at Louisiana College), Emma (11th grade), and Jacob (7th grade). She enjoys reading, rocking babies, and spending time with her family.

Elaine also enjoys writing curriculum. She has written for Shoes for Orphan Souls and Lifeway’s Worship Kidstyle, Preschool Edition. (Published Summer 2013, 2015)
